10 Months Old

Drew turns 10 months old today... only two months left until he gets to eat cake... he's very excited. :) Here's just a few milestones...

• I weighed him this morning and he's gained over two pounds this month... yeah!
• He now has 4 teeth and has just cut another tooth. He's not the happiest teether.
• He is pulling himself up and standing while holding onto furniture. He's not exactly walking along furniture yet, but he's pretty confident going from my hands, letting go, and grabbing onto something.
• He's finally sleeping about 11 hours a night and takes 2- 1.5 hour naps. Not as good a sleeper as Abby was, but pretty dang good.
• He's still eating his cereal pretty well, but enjoys any finger foods we'll give him. Abby snuck him a piece of cookie this weekend. He was pretty excited about that.
• He's become extremely difficult in church. Gone are the days of sitting in class. I've been spending a lot of time in the halls again.
  
• He's still scooting like a madman and has become very adventurous going into new rooms on his own and towards the stairs :( but so far he just stops and turns around.
• No new sounds... MaMa and Aba are his favorite. We're working on Dada. But Adam doesn't need to worry, he only says MaMa when he's upset or wants something. MAMAMAMAMAMAMA!!!!
• He's still nursing but likes drinking out of a cup and refuses any sippy. I think he'll probably wean a lot easier than Abby did.
• He LOVES bathtime and if we're in the bathroom with the water running he freaks out until his clothes are off and he's sitting in the tub with a toy.
  
• He's still the sweetest smiler and charmer around. His big sister and parents can't get enough of him.

James is Drew's buddy who is 6 weeks older than Drew and teaches him everything he knows. Isn't it cute how Drew watches and tries to imitate him?
