We had a great easter and fun birthday party for Abby. She woke up that morning, ran into our room and said, "Where are all of my friends?" She had a hard time understanding that first we would have naps, church and then her friends would come over. But she was patient and it paid off. That morning to keep her occupied we made her birthday cake in the morning and did easter eggs. She had a lot of fun eating the cake as we went. At church they sang happy birthday for her and she went around the whole day telling everyone that it was her birthday.

The people who came over were Trisha, Zack, Naomi, Trisha's Mom and their new baby, James; Em, Jake, Isabelle and Noah; Dave, Skji, and their three kids, and our wonderful friend from BYU, Carly (and Abby's favorite babysitter). It was crowded but we had a great time. The kids had an easter egg hunt, ate and then went back and destroyed Abby's room. Abby and Naomi were nice to leave a little art mural on the wall for us. (Thank goodness for magic erasers :)) They had a great time. Last we lit her candles and sang happy birthday. For some reason she was very scared of the fire on the candles, so she refused to blow out the candles, but we still had a lot of fun.

I just can't believe she's three years old. Where did the time go?

How awesome! Well, Abby's birthday will be super memorable, since it isn't every year she'll celebrate Easter three days after her birthday. And who would have thought she would have been privileged to have a Soho poet/artist help her make her Easter eggs!!! Oops, that was actually Adam!! We gotta get that boy shaved! Ah, I bet I'm his favorite sister-in-law, right? Okay, maybe only on the Rhodes side, and that's only until the end of May!!! Love you guys! Peace OUT! (I sure seem like I need to exclaim alot!! tehehehe)

Good job on the cake and what a fun Easter party! Hailey was scared to blow out her candles for her birthday last month. She kind of pushed her body away from the candles and said "Hot!"

You got a cute picture of the group of kiddos:) I'm sorry about the "art" in Abby's room.... Seriously, you'd like to think that your kids just don't do that kind of stuff:)!!
